Celebration of Life and/or Memorial Services provide a stable, loving and caring ritual in a non-formal, non religious environment and brings peace to what can be a chaotic situation.

There are no rules when it comes these services, literally anything goes!

Services can be held anywhere – a hotel, a golf course, a community hall, a funeral home or a personal residence.

Was your loved one a golfer?  Invite guests to wear a golf shirt.

A fisherman? Create a display using rods, reels, hooks and nets.

A hockey/baseball/basketball player? Create a display of jerseys, equipment, trophies, again invite guests to wear a sports jersey.

Celebrants will meet with family members and gather information about the deceased’s life and create a service that will honour your loved one in a professional and caring manner.

They will also make recommendations with respect to music, poetry or readings based on the deceased’s interests and lifestyle.

Since January 2016 Barry Slocombe has created and delivered several hundred services for grieving families in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. His services have also been utilized by Non Residents for a deceased located in Metro Vancouver. These include families from several Canadian Provinces, the United States, Mexico and Great Britain.

To take engage the services offered by Barry Slocombe, you can call or email Barry directly or advise the Funeral Home that you want them to use Barry for your loved one’s service.
